Who is Jackie Pool?
Jackie is an occupational therapist specialising in dementia care and one of the UK’s leading experts in care for the older person. She is recognized as one of the UK’s leaders in pioneering systems that are helping to make major differences to the quality of life for those with dementia and their carers. Jackie has published several works on the care of older people with dementia and is a regular speaker at national and international conferences.
Leading the way
Following work as a clinical practitioner in the NHS and local authority, Jackie formed JPA Ltd in 1990. The JPA team are hand picked for their professional experience, skills, knowledge and dedication to improving the lives of people with dementia and those who care for them.
