Following extensive consultation the department of Health national dementia strategy and implementation plan is to be published in October 2008. The strategy will address three key themes- raising awareness, early diagnosis and intervention and improving the quality of care. Jackie Pool is a member of the Government working group.

Wales and Northern Ireland. JPA works closely with the Alzheimer's
Society on a range of products and Jackie Pool acted as dementia
specialist design consultant on the new Alzheimer's Society HQ. All JPA
trainers are Alzheimer's Society Approved.
