Description
In this workshop participants have opportunity to explore the theory of person-centred care practice and how to support carers to apply this in their every day practice.

Learning outcomes
On completion of this module, participants will have met learning outcome 1.1; 1.4; 1.6 and, 2.1 of the Knowledge Set for Dementia. Participants will have:
- Explored the theory of person-centred care in dementia services
- Examined the use of systems that support a person-centred approach to caring for people with dementia
- Discussed management implications of the value base of person-centred care
- Identified issues of recruitment that identify a care-worker who is person-centred

providing the underpinning knowledge and understanding for the Skills
