This one day workshop is for those who have access to the ProActive System and who have responsibility for implementing the system and for the learning and development of their workforce.

On completion of this Study Session, the Lead Practitioner will have:
- Received the ProActive System
- Been guided through the modular programme of development
- Explored the Information sessions and training resources to enable them to facilitate cascade training
- Practised using the charts and plans in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets

- Introducing the ProActive System
- The role of the Dementia Champion as Lead Practitioner
- Completing baseline measures of the culture of care and the physical environment
- Introducing the PAL Instrument for activity and care planning
- Completing a PAL Checklist
- Setting goals and making plans
